Reply to Minhajul Qur'an Bangladesh Wing

This is an image of the book 'Mawlid: Celebrations and Permissibility's copyright-related page, which was posted on Facebook by one of the Bangladesh wing's members:

My reply in separate Facebook comments:

For whom the bell tolls (it tolls for thee): What legal action has been taken against my translation of the said book (Mawlid 1st part) that was published in 2019? Copies of the translation were sent to the author in Canada and he didn't object to those. My name as the translator is engraved on that book! Henceforth, you have no moral or legal ground left to stand on for enforcing restrictions now - after so long a time since then. Secondly, the PDF is a non-profit publication, which conforms with the Islamic spirit. Your coming here and posting a JPG photo only reveals the jealousy and meanness of the Bangladesh wing. So, go ahead, do what you want to do! I am not afraid of you, the worthless publishers! Your standard in the realm of publication stinks! The Dr. sahib in Canada is not aware of this debacle, I am absolutely sure! If only he knew the truth!

I am ready to take you on in court! Damning evidences!

If you publish your mediocre and stinking translation of the book, and if I find plagiarism in it (i.e. copying from my sublime translation), then I shall take you to court, this is my solemn word! Since my translation came out first, I shall have the legal ground to initiate litigation against your cotton-picking, BS translation! Copyright laws will favor me, the first translator, whose book has been published. I have gone through the Copyright Acts of 2023. Lodging of only one complaint with the Copyright office will be enough to cancel your entire publication in the twinkling of an eye! For whom the bell tolls, it tolls for thee!

The Copyright office would give a hearing, and I would provide the name of Mawlana Tayyib Chowdhury as witness. He would then be summoned to bear witness to the fact that I was the translator, and also that I didn't give him any royalty in exchange for money (meaning no such document is in his possession). Henceforth, I, the translator of the book, would be deemed as the rightful copyright owner. The mawlana would also have to testify to the fact that the Canadian Dr sahib gave him permission (i.e. producing the letter of permission at the hearing would be mandatory). The Bangladesh wing would be in dire staits considering the fact that our government hasn't granted them any registration as an affiliate to a foreign organisation!

Mawlana Tayyib Choudhury's publishing house - Sanjery Publication - didn't require an ISBN number since his company is registered with the government's concerned authority/department. But as regards the Bangladesh wing its registration is a suspect.
